Creating an Animation - SketchUp to Kerkythea

March 13, 2014

Software used in this tutorial:

  • SketchUp
    • Experience Level: Intermediate
  • Kerkythea
    • Experience Level: Novice
  • Premiere Pro
    • Experience Level: Novice
  • Blender
    • Experience Level: Novice

Total Run Time: 14:53

In this tutorial you will see strategies I employ when creating a simple walk-through animation from modeling in SketchUp to rendering in Kerkythea to sequencing in either Premiere Pro or Blender. And by the way, the SketchUp-Kerkythea-Blender method uses all free software. This is an invaluable workflow -- with this, you have no reason not include animations in your next project.
